Our Origin
Why We Created MUTHA Skincare
Hope Smith envisioned skincare designed for the realities of modern life: skin navigating everyday stress, lack of sleep, travel, pollution, changing hormones, and increasingly complex skincare routines.
Through more than 20 years as an esthetician, Hope recognized that skin under everyday stress often becomes less able to maintain hydration, support its natural barrier, and fully benefit from the skincare applied to it.
She believed there was room for a more comprehensive approach — one that considered not just visible concerns, but the underlying factors influencing overall skin condition.
At MUTHA, we believe skin performs best when it is supported first. That philosophy continues to guide every formula we create.
