MUTHA is a new skincare brand just launched in the UK, created by Hope Dworaczyk Smith, a pregnant mother who wanted products that help with the toll on skin that pregnancy and life in general takes. I have been trying out the MUTHA Up All Night Eye Cream. Here’s what you need to know.

I fell for this eye cream pretty much straight away because it has such an immediate brightening effect that you could possibly skip concealer if you just wanted to look fresh but not made up.
In fact, I was so impressed by it’s instant results that I chucked it in my handbag and have been pressing a small amount over makeup when I am out and about for when my eye area is starting to look a little dull or dry.
It does a brilliant job of refreshing your complexion, boosting hydration and brightness without actually adding any extra makeup.
In terms of the formula, the texture has a nice balmy quality that makes the whole eye area feel hydrated and nourished. A small amount optically lifts and hydrates the area and I feel like the hydration is nice and long lasting.
Makeup goes on top nicely, and as I said, it is light enough to pat on over makeup during the day for extra moisture and illumination. It’s actually really nice tapped on to the tops of cheekbones too, for a very natural looking highlight.
I haven’t tested it consistently enough to really comment on how it performs on lines, wrinkles and darkness over time, but it is definitely moisturising and really satisfying to use, so it’s the kind of product you would want to keep using. Compliance is key in skincare and continued use should see increased brightness and plumping.
