SHAME ON MOM-SHAMERS. EXPERIENCED THEIR WRATH? SHARE YOUR STORY.

I’ve been shamed for being too wild and fun and not motherly the way traditionally seems fit. Just as wild as I may appear to be, I’m wild about my kids! And, I believe my kids have benefited from my passionate way of life.

IF ANY LINE OF WORK NEEDS INSPO, IT'S MOTHERHOOD. WHAT TYPE OF MOTHERS INSPIRE YOU?

Mothers who listen to their children inspire me. The ones, who really listen and talk to their children about their worries and fears, as well as their hopes and dreams. The mothers, who out of all the love they have, would do anything for their child. My own mother, would always say to me “If I could reach up into the sky and grab you a star I would.”

SOMETIMES WE'RE ALL BAD MUTHAS (AS WE SHOULD BE). WHEN DID YOU GO AGAINST TRADITIONAL ADVICE?

I was once told that I shouldn't tell my children they were so wonderful, amazing and perfect, because the world would one day tell them they aren't. I had to disagree, I would rather they learn to believe they are great and can do anything. As we all know, many people in the world will try to tell them one day, they are not.

"I WAS ONCE TOLD THAT I SHOULDN'T TELL MY CHILDREN THEY WERE SO WONDERFUL, AMAZING AND PERFECT, BECAUSE THE WORLD WOULD ONE DAY TELL THEM THEY AREN'T."

BETTER WORLDS START WITH BETTER MOMS. HOW CAN THE MOTHERHOOD COMMUNITY IMPROVE?

Pressure to compete when our instincts are to support one another. We are naturally loving and caring beings yet find ourselves challenged by ‘who’s more involved at school, bake’s more, is better dressed, looks fitter or appears to have the perfect family’. Let’s resist the pressure and embrace the instincts.

HOW DO YOU LIKE TO MUTHA YOURSELF AND ENSURE YOU STILL HAVE SOME 'ME' TIME?

How times have changed, I use to really enjoy nights of getting all dressed up and meeting my husband or friends in town for dinner and drinks. Now, just a glass of good red wine, a juicy TV series or a good book, cuddled up with my husband will do.
